Saint Mary of the Assumption: Mother Church of North Baltimore
Welcome! Thank you for visiting our website – and we hope you’ll soon be visiting our parish! Ours is a diverse, open-hearted community where you will feel comfortable, welcomed and appreciated. Please introduce yourself to our pastor, Father Marty. Say hello to Deacon Miguel (aka "Deacon Mike") and other members of our parish staff. Reach out to other parishioners when you come to our beautiful church. We are eager to share the joy and passion of a parish family that is united in faith and loving service. We can't wait to see you!
Inspiring, Living Beauty
At Saint Mary, you are sure to notice our stunning altar mosaic and stained glass windows, but you are just as likely to appreciate the handpainted signs created by the young people of our parish. We are a melting pot of Catholic Christians who bring different perspectives, a wide range of life experiences and a common desire to follow Christ's model of love, acceptance, compassion, care, selfless service and forgiveness. So, while the physical beauty of our church is a treasured blessing, it is really the people here who make our community a radiant masterpiece - God's living, striving work of art. Whatever your age, gender, marital status, ethnicity, political affiliation or point of view, all are here and all are welcomed here.
